With Craig Holden scoring 33 not out on the weekend it becomes the 3rd highest score for the Mud Crabs this season... Craig Bowden hitting 21 not out is his first retirement with the Mud Crabs... Congrats CB!!! He also becomes the 12th player to cross the career 50 run mark for the club!!! With his quick fire innings on Saturday, Grant Holden becomes the 2nd player to achieve 550 career runs for the Mud Crabs... A staggering 300 of these runs come against the Berserkers!!! This is a record in itself becoming the first player to score 300 runs against a single club... Congrats Moose!!! 

Another win fellas and we find ourselves back on top of the ladder... Which begs the question what would we do without Craig Holden??? A sharp catch taken in the outfield to get rid of a very good batter early on and 33 not out with the bat which includes hitting the winning runs... A Man of the Match performance all round!!! Getting back to the story of winning, it was a 105-98 victory against the Berserkers... As previously mentioned FJ got 33 not out and others to score was Craig Bowden with 21 not out and Moose with 25 not out!!! Only the 2 wickets were taken, one each by Moose and Leon Jordan to keep the Berserkers down to 98... Awesome Effort!!! Fellas no game next week with the long weekend and as a result we find ourselves on top of the ladder for a week longer... Congrats gentlemen!!! 

WE HAVE A WINNER!!! Very surprisingly only after 2 rounds we have a survivor... Went down to the last match of the round with 2 entrants left and they picked opposing teams which meant a winner was going to be called!!! Congratulations to Tony and thanks to everyone who entered!!!

Fellas after the rains of yesterday and today there is quite a build up of water over the ground at the river end... So play for tomorrow has been called off and it will depend on the weather during the week as to see if we can get on next Satdee but until then enjoy your weekends!!!

Fellas attached is the most wickets after round 3 for the Masters Cup...

Our first loss for the year gentleman... Revesby Workers getting up on us by 9 runs... 101-92!!! The Mud Crabs bowled first and getting us off to a flyer was Craig Holden with 1-1 off the very first over... A few wicketless overs followed with not that many runs being scored to boot and then Sanjay Krishan comes on to bowl and to try and redeem himself after getting hit for 5 6's last week and he did just that!!! Took an absolute screamer of a catch... Followed thru his bowling action and had to run quickly to his left and picked off the ball centimetres off the turf!!! He finished with 1 for not many and then Grant Holden comes on to bowl the last over and did so in fine fashion... Picking up the second best bowling figures in Mud Crabs history... 4-17!!! The all time record is 4-7 done by Gus Aguilera back in 2023!!! Revesby Workers ended up getting 102 after all that!!! The chase was on and started well with Grant Holden retiring with 21* and it was a bit slow going after that... Some high scores with Sanjay Krishan chipping in with 19, Tony Porter with 11 and new recruit Nathan Badder with 17* unfortunately wasn't enough to get us home!!! In the end the Mud Crabs getting 92 runs off its allotted overs...Our first loss for the year and it knocks off us the perch and we've fallen from first to third on the ladder with for and against being the difference!!! Still a long way to go gentlemen and a lot more fun is to be had!!!
