Under 14's Clovelly Cyclones 31-20 Bondi Blues... With the win against the Blues the Under 12's consolidate top spot on the ladder!!! Gareth Edwards the man of the match scored two tries both before half time and in the corner... Both tries were the end result from some good lead up work from Dan Carter!!! A sloppy start to the second half saw the Blues even the game but then the game turned on its head with some very strong defence from Martin Johnson and Brian O'Driscoll... The latter provided a couple of turnovers which led to tries to both Richie McCaw and Jonny Wilkinson!!! Jonny also slotted 5 goals from as many attempts and he now passes 100 points for the season which is a club record... Nice work Jonny!!! Next weeks game is against the Devils at home... GO THE CYCLONES!!!

A picture tells a thousand words... This is what Field 1 and Field 2 looks like this morning after the rains we had on the weekend!!! The ground was re turfed 3 years ago and as a result the drainage is first class so expect our home ground to go from looking like this to being ready for play to resume this Saturday!!! With a forecast of sunny skies for the rest of the week to help out and all training session going indoors, watch out for the ground to be the greenest patch in all of Sydney!!! 

A huge Congratulations to our Under 9's for their very first win... Not just for this season but their very first win in 2 years!!! This young team formed together in the Under 7's competition and has battled bravely without ever registering a win until last weekend... Just the joy of being there and the way the game ended is the very reason many of us come together on weekends to watch our kids play sports!!! It was such a great atmosphere and one that I personally wish it could happen every weekend... A try on the bell to give us a 25-22 win against the Bondi Blues who previously had been unbeaten for 3 years!!! What a win, what a team, what a club!!! GO THE CYCLONES...

We have just submitted brand new renderings to the local council for our plans for a new and improved Western Grandstand... The club is hoping for the go ahead and to start the project at the completion of the season!!!

The first time in Cyclones history that both the Mens and Womens open division both won in Round 1... The boys won 25-15 and the girls won 32-22!!! It's a credit to all the hard work put in by both teams during the preseason... Keep up the good work and here's to many victories coming our way for 2024!!!
